Agnieszka Gasparska, creative director and founder of Kiss Me I'm Polish (and native of Warsaw, Poland), will share her insights on running a small studio. Particular emphasis will be placed on maintaining a work/life balance, business strategies and successes, as well her team's industry recognition.
Kiss Me I'm Polish is a creative studio specializing in websites, interactive applications, brand identity and print solutions for a wide array of clients including Deitch Projects. GRAMMY Awards / The Nat'l Recording Academy and GOOD Inc. In 2009, Agnieszka was a guest speaker at the AIGA Make/Think Conference in Memphis, TN.

Have you ever thought about moving from the client services side of design to creating your own design projects and products? Join Jennifer Rittner, design business consultant and educator, as she moderates an all-star panel of designers who have developed thriving business models outside of the consultancy sector.
Angela Voulangas - Angela is an award-winning designer with clients including: The New York Historical Society, the Lower East Side Tenement Museum, HarperCollins publishers and Ralph Appelbaum Associates. She is also a frequent contributor to Print magazine. In May 2009, she co-authored the book, Artistic Printing : A Collection of Letterpress Examples, with Specimens of Type, Ornament, Corners, Borders, Twisters, Wrinklers, Printer’s Devils, and Other Freaks of Fancy.
Allan Chochinov/Core 77 – Allan is a partner of Core77, where he serves as the editor-in-chief of Core77.com, and strategist for Coroflot.com and DesignDirectory.com. In addition to his editorial work, he produces design events and competitions, and coordinates content partnerships. Prior to Core77, his consulting work specialized in award-winning product design, design strategy, and writing with clients including: Johnson & Johnson, Herman Miller, Federal Express, Kodak, A.C. Nielsen, Oral-B and Crunch Fitness. He is associate professor at New York’s Pratt Institute.
Tina Roth Eisenberg/SwissMiss - Tina started her blog and design studio, swissmiss in March of 2005. Recent clients include the Museum of Modern Art and the Food Network. Her blog has become essential reading for designers and generates ad revenue with an average of 600k unique visitors a month.
